Description
Where most plant pots are taller than they are wide, the Sagres is low and elongated. Its sides bulge out gently and are covered from rim to base in narrow, vertical ribs. From the side you mainly see that rhythm of lines, from above the soft oval outline.
The shape of a bonsai tray
Bonsai have traditionally been kept in low, shallow trays, often rectangular or oval. The Sagres shares that low, oval line. That is why it looks its best in a spot where you look down on the plant, such as a coffee table or a low cabinet.
How to use it
The Sagres is a decorative pot. Leave the plant in its nursery pot and place that inside. Water while the nursery pot is out for a moment, or slide a saucer under the Sagres. It is only printed after you order and then finished by hand.
