Description
Blossom Guardians is a set in two colours: white and dark red. On some of the bookmarks a long dragon winds its way up between the flowers, on another blossoms and leaves run from top to bottom. Every bookmark has a red border with ornate corners, like a small print.
The Eastern dragon
The dragons on this set are long and serpentine, without wings. That is how the dragon has traditionally been depicted in Chinese and Japanese art, where it often stands for strength and good fortune. Quite different from the fire-breathing winged dragon of European tales.
Easy to spot between your pages
Red on white stands out, so you find your place quickly. A nice gift for readers of fantasy with dragons, or for anyone who loves Asian prints.
