Description
A chess set is on display more often than it is played on. This one is designed with that in mind. The pieces have the familiar classic shapes, with a gold-coloured ring on the base and gold-coloured detail on top. From a distance you can see at once which piece is where.
The board is the same as with our draughts set: cream white and dark with gold squares in between, in two halves that close against each other. After playing you put it away just like that.
